No one’s life is easy. And yet some people make it look so damn easy anyway. I admire the people my age or younger who seem to have it all figured out. I know I’m still not there yet, even though I’ve made some pretty good strides. I performed at a notable music festival in the Caribbean, and it was only my first time performing to boot. I got to compose radio ads for a reputable global brand sponsoring one of the biggest sports competitions every year. I co-founded a recording studio company. But yet, I still feel like I’m nowhere near where I want to be in life. Nowhere where I want to be in my romantic life and my career. And the fact that I know one day it will all happen, but it’s just a matter of when, it’s not knowing when that scares me.
What if that day never comes?
What if I never figure it out?
Well that’s why I decided to start this blog. I wanted to share what I’ve been doing to figure it all out; what seems to be working and what seems to not be working all that well. I’ll also be sharing a lot about what’s going on in my life in general, from career to relationships to travel. I wanted to plant a flag in this online world and declare my country, my land, a land you’re all quite welcome to visit, no visa required. This land is for everyone who is going through what I’m going through. I’m glad to say that you’re not alone. And for the record, I’m glad to know that I’m not alone either.
